I was born in Spain in 1975, but I was soon sent to school in England where I finished studying zoology at Bristol University. I then headed back to Spain, to join the family business, dealing in 20th century Spanish art. In 1998 photography began to interest me as a way to capture the beauty of nature and to record the places I visited. I soon found myself challenging the quality of some of the photography I saw being sold as art, so I set out to achieve similar results, only to discover that you couldn't just point and shoot to create those images. Since that day it has been a wonderful journey of discovery. I currently work in 35mm, large format and digital format, which
allows me to take on each photographic situation with the best
tool for the job. |
